Durango Colorado hidden gem. This place is that hole in the wall type of place that most look for. Simple menu with tasty options! The Double Decker was really good. The green chili here is so good. Be sure to check the hours before heading there. This is also cash only, but there is an ATM inside, so it's really not an issue. Make sure and try the sopapilla's with honey! Highly recommend at least trying this place.

No cheese green chile beef burrito for me and my mother had the smothered burrito no chile...both dishes very delicious and just right portions. Service was quick and very clean tables and attentive staff. Loved it. Will go back again. 😘💕👍👌

Griegos is a Durango institution, family owned and run by life-long locals. The food is the same for 40 years, and is excellent!! Fans of green chile will be excited and satisfied, but if the heat is not your thing , cheese burgers, bean and cheese burritos, and other items will satisfy the whole family. Rellenos are excellent... Get them smothered! It's not glamorous, it is affordable, and you will be happy you went.

I love this place. It's been a local favorite for over 50 years! It's run by the Griego family and they are so wonderful. The food is excellent - I love the green chili, burritos, salsa and tacos. You feel like family when you're there!

Our favorite place for a New Mexico style family meal. Not a chain. One of a kind. Just plain good! (FYI Most of the dishes are spicy, because most of us come for their authentic green chili, but, you can get burgers and fries without chili, too.)
